Wedding Blogs

Amanda & Steven

It was a beautiful day in Watch Hill for Amanda and Steven's stunning seaside affair, replete with blue skies, blush accents and lots of pretty pale florals. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Allison & Andrew

Welcome to Allison and Andrew’s very beachy, very fuzzy, very summer-ific Ocean House wedding. Actually, it was technically still Spring on their wedding day, but someone must have neglected to remind mother nature because it was a quintessential Watch Hill beach day!

Christine & Tommy

Christine and Tommy’s cheerful Ocean House wedding brought plenty of warmth to a cool, brisk March afternoon. Bright florals, candy jars, highly personalized touches and a healthy dose of glamour made this swoon-worthy affair one to remember.

Deb & Frank

One of the perks of traveling a lot is getting to see some pretty amazing places all over, many in the far corners of the world! But even better than that is when one of those amazing places is so close to home..! One of my favorite spa resorts is The Ocean House in Watch Hill, Rhode Island… and any opportunity to photograph there is something I get so excited to do!

Jessica & Jeremy

Jessica + Jeremy had the most intimate, perfect wedding at one of my favorite resorts, The Ocean House in Watch Hill, Rhode Island. I have done many weddings there, and they vary from the whole shebang of 150 people and all the bells and whistles to an intimate dinner for 20 or even more intimate ceremony for 6!

Julia & Evan

Julia & Evan

Julia & Evan were married on the back lawn of the incredible Ocean House in Watch Hill. I was happy to have my old second shooter back (my lovely wife, Amanda) and we had a great time hanging out with Julia, Evan and their families. Thanks so much for inviting us to document your beautiful day.

Old Hollywood Glamor

A tented seaside wedding is a New England classic and this Ocean House fete dressed in old Hollywood glam stole our friends at Style Me Pretty's heart. With a lineup of crazy good vendors behind all the pretty (True EventHana Floral Design and Paper Moss, just to name a few) it’s no wonder they were smitten.

Meaghan & Jason

The first wedding at the Weekapaug Inn was a celebration to remember. Meaghan and Jason grew up spending their summers in Weekapaug, so the Inn was a natural choice for their winter wedding. Guests enjoyed a weekend of festivities complete with dancing, food and fireworks to top off the perfect wedding.

Sarah & John

Sarah remembers spending their summers out on the boat in the Watch Hill area, and one of her favorite memories is how Ocean House puts their flag up to symbolize the start of summer. With her favorite moments of their relationship all being in that area in the summer time, and the special place Ocean House held in their heart, they KNEW that’s where they wanted to get married!e water, so there was no place more perfect for them to tie the knot than Ocean House.

Ashley & Fred

Under huge flowing white tents on the South Lawn, crystal chandeliers, exquisite table settings – all against the backdrop of Block Island Sound made for a memorable wedding day for this beautiful couple.

Tobey & Christian

Everywhere the guests turned, they were treated to bright pops of color and gorgeous coastal New England style. From the beautiful ceremony at Watch Hill Chapel to the fun cocktail and wedding reception following at the Ocean House, the lovely details couldn’t be missed!

Jubilee Events Photo Shoot

Summer brides, take note! The perfectly paired paper by Coral Pheasant, stunning styling from The White Dress by the Shore and the note worthy floral design fromDatura: A Modern Garden fill each gorgeous image from Carla Ten Eyck to the brim with delightful details.

Meghan & Pete

When you combine an Ocean House wedding with a perfectly warm, sunny spring day, it’s tough to beat. All of that is exactly what Pete & Meghan got for their wedding day. The playful couple showed their guests a great time.

Sarah & George

Reflecting hues of blue, Sarah and George’s wedding was inspired by the colors of sea glass. Incredible food, bright and sunny drinks and amazing company made for an amazing weekend.

Watch Hill Wedding

A fabulous wedding weekend set against a breathtaking Atlantic Ocean backdrop, a welcome bonfire on the beach and a recessional that includes “All You Need is Love.” Now this is a couple after our hearts. Not to mention that their gorgeous Ocean House affair also includes a plethora of pretty pink hues and downright brilliant images captured by Laura Ivanova Photography

Christina & Lee

Christina and Lee kicked off their September wedding weekend with a traditional New England clambake on the private beach, complete with a nighttime bonfire and s’mores. On the wedding day, native hydrangeas added color and texture to the bouquets, the Seaside Ballroom, and the couple’s three-tier wedding cake.

Katie & Peter

Katie and Peter’s fall wedding began in the Watch Hill Chapel where friends and family rejoiced as the couple descended down the aisle as husband and wife. The bright colors of autumn complemented the nautical navy touches that resonated throughout this beautiful wedding.

Preppy Inspiration Shoot

A team of some of Connecticut’s finest – including Datura – A Modern GardenThe White Dress by the Shore and Dana Bartone & Company – teamed up to produce a shoot to that is sure to inspire. Full of bow ties, croquet and beach-side bliss – it’s enough to make you forget winter is just around the corner.

Abby & Andrew

Andrew and Abby met in the fairytale town of Watch Hill, RI. For their wedding, they wanted something classic, timeless and simple in a way that was focused on the purpose of the event. Abby chose the colors (blue & yellow) to compliment the ocean and reception venue – the Ocean House. From the table cloths to the pillows they brought in, to the Adirondack chair guest book – everything appeared as if it happened effortlessly.
